Upon arrival in Mumbai, you will be welcomed by our Pierce & Leslie colleague who will escort you to your hotel and help you to check-in.
Tonight, you will dine at a whimsical Japanese fine dining restaurant or a rooftop Mediterranean restaurant.

Day 2
After breakfast, your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel to begin a guided exploration of Mumbai’s highlights.
Start at the iconic Gateway of India, built to commemorate the 1911 royal visit of King George V and Queen Mary for the Delhi Durbar. Continue through the historic Fort District and Kala Ghoda, home to some of the city’s finest colonial-era architecture, museums, art galleries, courts, St. Thomas Cathedral, and the UNESCO-listed Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus (formerly Victoria Terminus).
Proceed to Churchgate Station to witness the famed dabbawallas, Mumbai’s legendary lunchbox delivery system, in action. Enjoy lunch at a cuisine-agnostic restaurant celebrated for its seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
After lunch, visit Dhobi Ghat, the world’s largest open-air laundry, followed by Mani Bhavan, Mahatma Gandhi’s former residence and an inspiring site of India’s freedom movement.

Later in the afternoon, set out on a guided walking tour of Bandra, exploring one of the area’s surviving village enclaves, where charming homes and a slower pace of life offer a striking contrast to the historic core of Fort Mumbai. The tour continues with a drive through Bandra’s residential neighbourhoods.
Conclude the evening with a round of drinks at one of Mumbai’s acclaimed bars returning to your hotel.
