Peirce & Leslie Travel traces its lineage to two 19th century British adventurers, Robert Peirce and Patrick Leslie, who came to India in the 1850s to seek their fortune. Starting with the production and trade of coffee, spices and cashew nuts, they formed Peirce Leslie & Co. to formalise their businesses and to diversify into shipping, forwarding and insurance and finally, of course, travel.
We built on that legacy and today offer bespoke luxury trips to India, Nepal, Bhutan & Sri Lanka. We work only with the luxury travel trade. Although we’ll put together an exceptional holiday for your client, YOU are our client and we’re here to make you look good!

Chief Storytelling Officer
Anil has a background in private equity investing and accidentally stumbled into the world of luxury travel in the early 2000s. He is happiest talking to unsuspecting prospects and extolling the charms of India and its surrounding countries. His mantra: tourists become travelers in three stages; observing, absorbing and finally, immersing themselves into the local culture.

A seasoned travel professional, Amit has spent most of his career in creating extraordinary trips for clients across the Indian subcontinent. He is deeply passionate about helping travelers explore the region in comfort and style. Drawing on years of on-the ground experience and specialist knowledge, he also plays a role in all the behind-the-scenes magic that goes into creating the most remarkable trips for our clients.

Kishore Sharma

Director – Operations
A true hospitality and tourism professional, Kishore started his career in the hotel industry. He transitioned into the travel industry (and P&L) over 20 years ago and has dedicated his career ever since to delivering exceptional experiences to our clients. When he’s not tailoring a trip for our eminent clients, Kishore can usually be found learning more about Ayurveda and naturopathy – he’s our in-house wellness expert!

Saurabh Shukla

Director
Saurabh’s passion for travel was first ignited by his adventures around the country as a young child. Putting this into practice, he then embarked on a degree in tourism and subsequently joined the industry. He has been part of P&L for over a decade, and he firmly believes that traveling and immersing oneself in diverse places and cultures is one of the most enriching experiences in life. A self-proclaimed yoga enthusiast, he never fails to teach us how to strengthen our stretches, align our chakras and practice mindfulness.

Mirtunjoy has been in the industry for over two decades and has a wealth of knowledge about the Indian subcontinent. A couple years ago, Apeksha had a chance meeting with Anil while working with a market research firm and one of the things they spoke about was P&L and the amazing trips they create. She was fascinated with the work they were doing and knew that she had to get on board. Shortly after, she joined the team as our Marketing & Comms Manager and has been consistently working to keep our digital presence (and us) in shape!

Nand Lal

Senior Tour Manager
Nand manages our clients trips and coordinates bookings to ensure every stage of their trip is seamless, giving our partners and their clients the reassurance that even last-minute changes can be accommodated. In his free time, he enjoys watching Hindi movies/series (the BIG Bollywood buff that he is) and cooking for his friends and family. He also has a curious mind and loves to meet and connect with people from different cultures.

From a young age, Vineet was drawn to the thrill of exploring the unknown and seeking out exhilarating experiences. He has taken several motorcycle and off-roading trips across the daunting landscapes of India. He’s also a HUGE sports freak and plays in corporate level cricket tournaments regularly. With a keen pursuit for adventure (and sport) in travel, he takes pride in ensuring he plans the best trips he can for his guests.

Sandeep is as passionate about travel, as he is about culture, cuisine and the financial markets. He enjoys connecting with people, establishing meaningful connections with like-minded travelers, and sharing captivating travel stories. When he’s not working, he’s busy reading up on the financial markets and deciding which stocks he should invest in. It’s his second biggest passion (after travel) and he could spend all day talking about it!

With a master’s degree in Tourism, Chandan always knew that he wanted to get work in the industry. He assists and supports guests from the moment they confirm their travel plans and until they leave the country after their trip. For him, customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything he does, and he does his best to ensure that no detail of a client’s trip is ever overlooked. Chandan also loves to be in the great outdoors and is particularly passionate about taking trekking journeys in the mountains of Northern India.

The man in charge of the money matters of Peirce & Leslie, Srivatsan brings with him a wealth of finance knowledge, strong accounting foundations and a quirky sense of humour. He is responsible for setting the overall financial strategy and ensures your transactions with us are always hassle free! When his head is not buried deep in a spreadsheet, he can usually be found doing social service in the local temple.
